A full-length control bridge for the MDT ACC Elite chassis system.
MDT does offer these in short segments for a very steep price and with a high weight, making them hard to fit on a rifle and still meet the requirements of Swedish field competition.
Made from heat-resistant plastic, this bridge weighs around 73 grams (shorter) and 89 grams (longer). If made from aluminum, it weighs around 179 and 217 grams, respectively. MDT's original parts weigh 308 grams for a full bridge.
The shorter version is primarily a weight-saving measure, as you don't necessarily need to cover the barrel underneath the scope. But, it also leaves space for the thickest part of the barrel and may be necessary on larger calibers. It also comes with the benefit of not obscuring the maker's mark of your gunsmith.
Rendering and light physics knowledge utilized to make the anti-glare cuts substantially more effective than MDT's solution.
